NWE-Chance launches hospital at home video
The NWE-Chance project, of which TSC Connected Care is one of the partners of, has created a great video explaining how a hospital initiated Hospital at Home service would work.
Read articleNWE-Chance, a cross-European research project with TSC Connected Care as one of its partners, surpassed its 2-year mark. NWE-Chance is focussed on innovation in the home care market. The Sensium solution is a vital part of the project, which also includes 3 hospital sites in Belgium and The Netherlands. TSC Connected Care is excited to share the findings of the collaboration in a whitepaper
In #COVID19 times more than ever, being safely hospitalised at home becomes much more attractive for the quality of life of #HeartFailure patients. Reducing hospitalisation costs and increasing the availability of beds also remain important issues for hospitals.
This is precisely where NWE-Chance’s work of the past two years comes into play. The project is studying the feasibility of a medical platform and #eCoach device that will enable nurses to care for and monitor their patients’ health at a distance in a more simple and efficient way
The project has made significant progress so far in three ways, which can be read in this whitepaper:
In the following months, a total of 100 patients will be included in the NWE-Chance feasibility study on three partnering pilot sites: @Isala (ziekenhuis) and @MUMC+|Herstelzorg in the Netherlands, and @jessa-ziekenhuis in Flanders (Belgium)
Home hospitalisation is still in its infancy and the innovation potential is high. Opportunities are enormous. Therefore, NWE-Chance aims to create a Digital Innovation Hub, that brings together the learnings and key assets of the project, as the “go-to place” for hospitalisation@home.
